The “Noodlehead Herd” was based on a piece artist Lauri Lynnxe Murphy made in 2008, that had been inspired, in part, by her assistant’s Xoloitzcuintli dog. Lauri had been researching genetically modified organisms, and imagining what a world with tomatoes impregnated with fish DNA could come to with a little bit of imagination. The Noodleheads have found their perfect home in Numina, where they aren’t constrained by the ordinary limits of time and space, and they can explore a benevolent world where they don’t quite belong, but finally feel comfortable in their difference, like so many of us humans.
