Bio
Raised the son of a Mexican artist. My family lived and traveled wherever my father's love of art took us https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qa7sbkzsD1s.
The small villages we often resided in gave me my core sense of what is important and what is not and the lack of amenities like electricity, running water and heating made me appreciate those things we here in the U.S. often take for granted.
My father's art most often depicts the struggles of the underclass and his reflections as an expressionist provided me with a view of the world that left me with a deep sense of gratitude for the gifts this life has given us and the deep joys that the simple things in life provide.
Eventually we moved to the States to a small town in California known for its creative community and grand art festivals.
In this place I fell in love with the ocean, learned to surf and spent many a day traversing the coast in search of that ever elusive perfect swell.
It was the perfect swell that brought me to New Mexico where I studied Esoteric Studies (for lack of a better description) for several years with my teacher Martin Prechtel in Ojo Caliente. Allas and in the dessert of all places! I caught the perfect wave, Meow Wolf! Where I deeply enjoy my work as corporate facilities manager and self proclaimed photographic historian.

Manager of Facilities
It was my job to keep all mechanical process and equipment maintained and running efficiently. During this time I also worked as Acting Director of Facilities where I performed both my Managerial and Director level responsibilities and successfully supported our Denver production teams as they created their Meow Magic! In addition, I also photographed all the art being produced for the sake of historical documentation and to provide references for artist unable to find the time to photograph their own projects.
