Bio

I truly believe we are all creators and that together we have the power to build a beautiful world, a world where are all beings are appreciated and supported. I have been working as an Artist with Meow Wolf in Santa Fe for over 5 years now and use she/her pronouns. I came on board 1 year after the opening of the House of Eternal Return. Heavily involved in creating work for Omega Mart in Las Vegas and Convergence Station in Denver, I spent a combined 7 months working on those construction sites during installation and frosting phases, doing a lot of mural painting, adding sculptural details, and assisting collaborating artists. Kaleidoscape, the dark ride, features one of my large graphic mural designs. I also had a blast making art for the first Vortex Music Festival. Born in Wisconsin, I graduated with a BFA in painting, served as a Peace Corps volunteer in West Africa, and hustled as a freelance graphic designer in Austin, Texas. Now I have a big live-work-gallery space where I paint and play and put on small independent art shows. I'm a proud queer feminist and a Meow Wolf Workers Collective union member! Find me on Instagram, let's connect.

Projects

We were working on this exhibit for 3 years before we even started installing it. I helped to design and make a lot of foliage in the 3-story swamp Numina, including the large mushroom vines, and spent a lot of time up in construction lifts attaching foliage to the walls. Working on the Eemia Cathedral was one of my first projects; it was really amazing to see this tall dazzling structure come together in our shop in Santa Fe. I did a lot of large scale sculpting and creature painting that can be found all over the exhibit and was on site installing and frosting for 3 months before opening. In the Perplexiplex music venue, I painted the large standing tree flats flanking the left and right sides of the stage. Even though it's not perfect and we learned a lot, we are so proud of bringing this giant exhibit to life and including so many talented artists, technicians, and craftspeople!

Projects

I spent four months working on-site in Las Vegas as a member of the Art Team Task Force. I designed and created several hand-painted and digitally designed murals, including the t-shirt portal spiral staircase and the janitor closet portal. I created the 8 Caltucky graphic tee designs on the spiral shirt rack, painted signs, spent days glittering desert walls, made last night dioramas that live in the apple produce pyramid, and did a ton of other things around that crazy building.

Projects

One of my main contributions here is the large 3-wall mural on the expanded seating area of the Float Bar & Cafe in the lobby. It's a large retro-futuristic bubble mural with activating and mind-bending digital projection overlay by artist Nathaniel Gutierrez. I've helped with lots of other things in the exhibit over the years and also painted the large flying bat flats on the outdoor patio off of the venue. These were up on the front of the building for one Halloween season and are still haunting the place. Check out some of my art prints in the gift ship, simple gestural illustrations that make up my Island Universe series.
